The Revolutionary Tetra Quad Tackling System is a dynamic tackling dummy that is always upright. The tetra makes the athlete attack at a hip level, always keeping the head out of the tackle and making sure that the body is positioned in a safe state. The angle of attack changes after every tackle, making the players use non-repetitive movements and assuring a proper breakdown prior to engaging in the tackle. The tetra conditions the players to drive through the tackles and use their hips while keeping their heads up and out of the way.

One of the most popular defensive sled pads is now a hand shield. This shield features three handles, a sternum roll for hand placement, and longer arms for aiming points for defenders to practice rip moves. Use with defensive backs as well when being stalked.
